These are captive bred in the UK. Adult butterflies feed on the nectar from flowers such as Heliotrope, Pentas and Lantana, 10% sugar water solution can be used as a substitute. Glasswings also feed on rotting fruit such as bananas. They are long lived and usually survive for 6 – 8 weeks in ideal conditions such as a heated greenhouse between 18 and 25c with 80% humidity.

Please note replacements will be supplied if livestock is received ‘dead or damaged on arrival’ as long as an email is sent on the same day as the livestock is recieved.
