When placing your order please let us know a suitable day at checkout when you can receive the package (Tuesday – Fridays only) as you must be available to sign for the parcel and open it immediately. Deliveries are with Royal Mail Special Delivery so will arrive before 1pm on your chosen date.

These are captive bred in the UK and will be posted as live adult butterflies. Some may be already mated, but no guarantee can be given as it is impossible to tell, but a mixture of males and females will be sent.

Adult butterflies feed on the nectar from flowers such as Heliotrope, Pentas and Lantana, 10% sugar water solution can also be used in flower shaped feeders if no flowers are present, they will also feed on rotting fruit such as bananas. They are long lived and usually survive for 6 – 8 weeks in ideal conditions such as a heated greenhouse between 18 and 25c with 80% humidity.

Please note replacements will be supplied if livestock is received ‘dead or damaged on arrival’ as long as an email is sent on the same day as the livestock is recieved. We cannot offer replacements for items that perish after this time as we have no control over the conditions in which they are being kept.
